ClearShare coverage deadline is today
Oregon says the health-sharing plan ends Sept. 1; Friday is the listed Marketplace enrollment deadline.
ClearShare members in Oregon have a same-day coverage decision. The state Marketplace lists Friday, Aug. 14, as the final day of the special-enrollment period, and ClearShare plans are set to end Sept. 1.
The Oregon Division of Financial Regulation issued a cease-and-desist order after finding that ClearShare and Clearwater Benefits sold insurance without authorization. The order says 370 Oregonians were enrolled as of March 29.
Affected members can compare plans at HealthCare.gov or call 1-800-318-2596. Missing Friday's window could leave a gap when the ClearShare plan ends.
