Sugar Beets take Island Park tonight, with cans accepted as admission
Island Park's gates open at 5:30 p.m.; admission is $5 or two nonperishable food donations.
Willamalane's final Concert in the Park of the summer belongs to Sugar Beets, the Eugene band that moves between rock and funk with room for neighboring genres. Music starts at 6 p.m. Friday at Island Park and runs until 8:30.
Admission is $5, or free with two nonperishable food cans. The evening has several civilized ways to arrive: accessible parking, a shuttle from Booth Kelly, LTD service and a bike valet.
Gates open at 5:30 p.m. Food and drinks will be sold on site.
