Internal Applicants: Apply via email, following the emailed application instructions Position Summary: The Development Director must be passionate about the mission of HIV Alliance and philanthropy and is an experienced leader who will inspire others, including staff, board and volunteers. HIVA currently raises $240k in individual, corporate and event donations and is seeking to increase this goal by 20% in the next 12 months. The Development team is responsible for resources development including donor engagement and stewardship, events, corporate giving, marketing, website and volunteers. The Development team is a highly collaborative team that works together across initiatives. The Director will supervise staff who are primarily responsible for event planning, marketing & communications, website and volunteers and will actively work to support their success. The Director will take a lead role in implementing strategic initiatives to increase funding and support, identifying new donors and strengthening relationships with existing donors. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Strategy Collaboratively develop and implement annual development plan and strategic initiatives, including regional strategies, that engages donors/supporters, the board, staff and volunteers Support the Directors team in meeting the goals of the agency Ensure that all Development initiatives have clearly defined outcomes and impact goals and continually evaluate effectiveness Administration Support and supervise the development team Stay informed about fundraising best practices and share those with board and staff Ensure the quality of public relations and marketing for the agency Collaborate with directors to identify grant opportunities Maintain accurate donor records and financial tracking Provide regular and accurate updates and projections Participate in agency planning and strategy activities Engage board members in development strategies and ensure accountability Work with the Executive Director to identify, engage, recruit, onboard, and steward new board members, committee members, and other community supporters Work with the development team to ensure agency events are successful For a complete job description please visit: https://hivalliance.sagehcm.com/jobs/51/1/#746
