Full-Time Schedule - 4/10s Schedule: M-F, 1:30 PM to 12:00AM - Occasional Overtime Required. CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT: Candidates for employment must meet position requirements and successfully pass post offer employment examinations including: - Background Check - MVR Check(Clean driving record) - Drug screen RESPONSIBILITIES: - Perform maintenance and repairs on our fleet of 125 garbage trucks. - Utilizes vehicle computer electronics systems to interpret failure modes to initiate or assign repairs. - Conducts safety checks on vehicles and equipment. - Completes required paperwork utilizing fleet maintenance software program associated with repairing vehicles, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair times. - Reviews, completes, or assigns repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports. - Performs diagnostics and repairs on engine, aftertreatment, transmissions, hydraulic systems, electrical systems (12V and CAN) - Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with corporate and OSHA standards. - Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures. - Effectively communicate needed repairs or tasks.
