We're looking for a hands-on Facilities Manager to take ownership of our facilities located in Eugene, Oregon. The ideal candidate has extensive experience operating and maintaining technical facilities, including labs, cleanrooms, and offices. This onsite role is key in maintaining safe, clean, secure, and operationally effective workspaces by partnering with local leadership to proactively address business needs and proactively address emerging challenges. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Facility & Infrastructure Operations Oversee comprehensive facility management including building infrastructure, specialized equipment, and systems Lead space planning initiatives by analyzing occupancy and space utilization Coordinate construction projects and facility improvements with project management and contractor staff Performs small facilities management tasks as necessary Project & Budget Management Plan and coordinate day-to-day operations, budgets, and schedules Review costs, productivity, and service delivery methods to maintain operational efficiency Vendor & Contract Management Establish and manage service contracts, ensuring vendors meet performance standards Coordinate with landlords and tenants on shared building matters Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with Procurement, EH& S, and other departments to align support services with operational needs Communicate effectively across departments to balance operational requirements with quality standards, timelines, and compliance Process Improvement & Documentation Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize resource utilization Develop and maintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and process workflows Compliance & Safety Ensure all operations comply with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies Ensure work is accomplished safely in accordance with established operating procedures and practices We recognize and appreciate the value and contributions of individuals with diverse backgrounds and experiences and welcome all qualified individuals to apply.
