We are currently looking to hire a Quality Assurance Tech based in Springfield, OR! Grave Shift: Sunday - Wednesday (10:00 PM - 8:30 AM) The Quality Assurance Tech I is responsible for following Danone's systematic process that helps our products meet federal and state food manufacturing compliance, and customer needs and expectations, in addition to preventing product defects before they arise. In this role, you will be responsible for: You will conduct micro testing of pasteurized mix, and microbiology and allergen tests of finished good samples for So Delicious Dairy Free plant and Plant 3 samples to ensure compliance. You will verify ingredients and packaging at startup of production lines and throughout the production runs for all products. You will conduct sensory evaluations of all finished goods samples to ensure product quality meets guidelines. You will conduct hourly line checks including metal detector validations and sample collections. You will issue non-conformance holds and dispositions on material and finished product. You will assist in quality assurance data management by documenting testing results on both paper documents and computer files. You will complete document review of QA and production paperwork, ensuring accuracy and completeness. You will have knowledge of laboratory practices and procedures. You will have demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook.
