Job Description Job Duties: - Develop, implement, and maintain the project-specific Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP) in compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Construction Quality Management (CQM) requirements, and contract specifications. - Perform daily quality inspections and document work progress to ensure materials, workmanship, and methods meet required standards. - Oversee construction contractor's Quality Control meetings (Preparatory, Initial, and Follow-Up) with project stakeholders and subcontractors. - Review and approve submittals, shop drawings, and materials to verify conformance with design specifications and project requirements. - Coordinate with field supervisors, project managers, and government representatives to address non-conformances, corrective actions, and quality-related issues promptly. - Maintain accurate and detailed quality documentation, including inspection reports, test results, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and corrective action logs. - Collaborate with safety and project controls teams to ensure integrated compliance with quality, safety, and schedule requirements. - Verify that all testing and inspection activities are performed by qualified personnel and approved laboratories. - Participate in project meetings, audits, and final inspections to verify completion and acceptance criteria are met. - Support continuous improvement by identifying quality trends, recurring issues, and process enhancements. - Performs other duties as assigned. #LI-LP2 Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree. - 5 years of relevant experience. Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a college degree. Domestic and/or international travel may be required. The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and the essential functions of the position, which may vary depending on workload and project demands. Driving Requirements An appropriate and valid driver's license is required. Preferred Qualifications - Experience with large Federal construction quality programs. - Construction Quality Management for Contractors Certification (USACE). Skills & Abilities - Must be a U.S. citizen. - Able to pass a federal background check. - Ability to work in the field which can include long periods of standing, walking or sitting. - Proficient in reading/interpreting quality plans. - Knowledge of applicable regulations, codes, and standards. - Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and team.
