Hourly Wage Range: $30.48 - $42.84 (Classified Hourly Pay Grade 14) Salary/Compensation Statement: Hourly wage reflects an approximate annual salary of $63,397 - $89,101. New employees may not be placed on the salary schedule higher than any current employee in this classification with the same or greater number of years' relevant experience and education. Required Qualifications: High school graduation or equivalent. Three (3) years of documented industry employment as a full-time general aviation aircraft mechanic which includes substantial experience involving the inspection and repair of all-metal Cessna 152, Piper PA-28, and PA-44 series aircraft and one year of documented work as an authorized inspector or shop foreman in a FAA repair station or as a FAA Maintenance Inspector is required. Licensure or Certification Requirements FAA Airframe & Powerplant Certificate Inspection Authority Conditions of Employment: To obtain and maintain an airport security badge. Annual TSA Security Awareness Training. Successful applicants are required to complete a criminal background check. Must work and reside in the state of Oregon at the time their work is being performed. Preferred Qualifications: Associate degree is preferred. Experience working on Cessna 152s and Piper PA28 aircraft. Experience tracking, maintaining, and documenting aircraft airworthiness including ADs and SBs.
