Opportunities are available for both apprentice-level and journeyman-level carpenters. This is NOT a registered apprenticeship position. Candidates with developing carpentry skills and experience are encouraged to apply, as well as experienced journeyman carpenters. Job Duties May Include: ' Deck repairs and renovations ' Deck post replacement ' Installation and repair of deck ledgers ' Handrail repair and replacement ' Interior remodeling and punch-list work ' Concrete stair removal and replacement ' Weather barrier and building wrap installation ' Working from boom lifts and elevated work areas ' General residential and commercial carpentry ' Demolition, repair, and renovation work ' Measuring, cutting, fitting, and installing building materials ' Other carpentry and construction duties as assigned Qualifications: ' Apprentice-level through journeyman-level carpentry experience considered ' Working knowledge of common carpentry hand and power tools ' Ability to accurately measure and perform basic layout ' Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting and carrying construction materials ' Ability to work safely from ladders, scaffolding, or aerial lifts when required ' Ability to follow instructions, plans, and jobsite safety requirements ' Reliable transportation and dependable attendance ' Ability to work independently and as part of a construction crew Journeyman candidates should have broad residential and/or commercial carpentry experience and be capable of completing assigned work with minimal supervision. Apprentice-level candidates should have prior construction or carpentry experience and a working knowledge of basic carpentry tools and methods. This position is intended for candidates developing toward journeyman-level proficiency but is not a registered apprenticeship program. Work includes multiple residential and commercial projects, with assignments and scopes varying based on project needs. Compensation: $28.00'$35.00 per hour, depending on carpentry experience and skill level.
