Completepreventativemaintenanceandinspectionsonchassiscomponentstoensureequipmentreliabilityandperformance. Utilizeelectronicdiagnostictools,servicemanuals,andothertechnicalresourcestoaccuratelyidentifyandresolveissues. Completeservicedocumentation,workorders,warrantyclaims,andrepairrecordsaccuratelyandtimely. Coachandsupportjuniortechniciansandapprenticesbysharingtechnicalknowledgeandbestpractices. Maintainaclean,safe,andorganizedworkarea,tools,andequipment. AdheretoCumminsHealth,Safety& Environmentalpoliciesandprocedureswhilepromotingastrongsafetyculture. Participateinongoingtraininganddevelopmenttomaintainandexpandtechnicalskills. In order to be succesful in this role you will need the following: Advancedknowledgeandexperiencewithchassissystems,diagnostics,repair,andmaintenance. Abilitytoperformcomplextroubleshootingandrepairsusingelectronicservicetoolsanddiagnosticsoftware. Strongunderstandingofelectrical,mechanical,fuel,cooling,exhaust,aftertreatment,driveline,andcontrolsystems. Experiencedocumentingrepairs,diagnostics,andmaintenanceactivitiesinservicemanagementsystems. Abilitytoprovideguidance,coaching,andtechnicalsupporttolessexperiencedtechnicians. Strongcommunication,customerservice,andteamworkskills. Commitmenttosafety,quality,andcontinuousimprovement. Vocationaldiplomafromarelevanttechnicalinstitutionpreferred. Validdriver'slicenserequired. CDLmayberequireduponhire.FederallawrequiresCDLholderstobeatleast21yearsofage. ApprenticeTrainedTechniciancertificationpreferred. Work well in a team environment, A CDL may be required to obtain upon hire Federal law requires a CDL holder to be 21 years of age or older Education, Licenses, Certifications: Apprentice Trained Technician (Preferred). Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution. Locally valid driving permit This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations. Experience: Advanced level knowledge of and/or experience with chassis products Experience providing technical advice and coaching to more junior technicians (preferred) Compensation Benefits: Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
