The position follows established procedures and standard operating practices while working with semi-automated and automated manufacturing equipment in a production environment. Responsibilities Operate processing and packaging equipment, including balances, labelers, band sealers, pumps, filtration systems, and other packaging machinery. Weigh, measure, and verify raw materials using a computer interface to ensure that each batch contains the correct materials and quantities. Calibrate and operate semi-automated and automated manufacturing equipment according to standard operating procedures. Perform in-process sampling and testing to confirm that batches meet defined specifications and quality standards. Comply with all company safety regulations, procedures, and safe work practices at all times. Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safe practices while performing daily tasks. Complete and maintain accurate Quality Records in compliance with regulatory requirements, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and standard operating procedures. Maintain equipment and lab or production rooms to ensure proper operating conditions, cleanliness, and organization. Identify and review relevant factors when analyzing production issues and apply defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate actions. Work on recurring production tasks that may involve a moderate degree of complexity and occasional variations from standard situations. Exercise sound judgment within established guidelines to resolve routine problems and escalate more complex issues as needed. Receive and follow general instructions for routine work and detailed instructions for new or unfamiliar assignments. Perform other related duties as required or assigned to support production, assembly, packaging, and general labor needs.
