On-Call Library Clerk, Florence and Mapleton locations

Job description

The Siuslaw Public Library District has openings for on-call Library Clerks at both the Mapleton and Florence locations of the library. DUTIES: This position performs a variety of routine clerical functions quickly and accurately, including circulation functions using a computer system, and requires a commitment to excellent patron and library service. QUALIFICATIONS: Successful candidates should additionally have a working knowledge of word processing and the internet, and the ability to offer routine troubleshooting assistance for library technology. Minimum qualifications are a high school diploma or equivalent and at least three months of experience working with the public. HOURS & PAY: There will not be a regular schedule of hours, but selected applicant(s) will have the potential for irregular and occasional substitute hours, including weekend and evening hours, at the Florence and/or Mapleton location.
