If this resonates with you, consider joining our Surgery Team in the following role: Role: Full-time 1.0 FTE Day Operating Room RN Schedule: four 10-hour Day shifts each week, 0645-1715, schedule includes every other weekend Unit: 26 state-of-art Surgery Suites Features: The busiest Robotics program in the state with both Da Vinci 5 and XI Robots Surgeries Performed: Performing ortho, neuro, crani's, spine, vascular, thoracic, general, trauma, plastics, ENT, Eyes, GYN, GU, robotics, and cardiac surgeries (CVOR) Location: Sacred Heart Medical Center at Riverbend in Springfield, Oregon - 350-bed acute care regional medical center with a Level II trauma center Sacred Heart Medical Center at Riverbend is a beautiful hospital situated along the Mckenzie River in Springfield, Oregon. Located an hour from the Pacific Ocean and 2 hours South of Portland, Springfield and its sister city Eugene are adventure-driven destinations. Promotes a collaborative, interdisciplinary approach towards patients, families and all members of the care delivery team. Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care needs. Documents patient care in the healthcare record according to established standards. Directs and delegates care to other team members in accordance with their education, credentials, and demonstrated competence. Ensures own professional effectiveness through education and professional development. Participates in the development of and maintains established hospital policies, procedures and objectives, quality improvement, safety, environmental and infection prevention program. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications Required: Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing Required: Minimum 1-year operating room circulating experience in a main OR in an acute care hospital setting. Ability to independently scrub circulate major cases in full service operating room preferred.
