New work by Janneke Broekhoff. "In the Mind's Eye is an exploration of how color and shape influence our perception of emotion and art. Each piece uses a different primary or secondary color palette and a basic geometric shape in an experiment to see how the viewer's experience changes with color and shape association. The paintings are intended to be viewed as a variation on a color field taken on a white background.
