The new exhibit draws from the gallery’s collection of artworks by Japanese, Chinese, and Northwest artists, including Toyohara Kunichika (1835-1900), Tanaka Ryohei (1933-2019), Hamanishi Katsunori (b. 1949), Han Likun (b. 1938), Wu Jide (b. 1942), Frank Okada (1931-2000), and Morris Graves (1910-2001). The pieces demonstrate the mastery of these artists in mediums such as etching, mezzotint, oil painting, woodblock printmaking, and watercolor. We hope you will join us in appreciating these works by artists celebrated across centuries and borders!
