You're invited to the School of Journalism and Communication 2026 Majors Night and Reception! Learn about our four undergraduate majors, four minors, experiential learning and professional development opportunities, careers, and more! If you're a new SOJC major, existing SOJC major, pursuing an SOJC minor, or curious about a career as a professional or creative communicator, this event is right for you! This event isn't just for first-year students and transfer students—sophomores, juniors, and seniors can all benefit and discover possibilities they didn't know of and new avenues for career exploration within their major. Majors Night Schedule 5:30-7pm: Sessions - find locations below 7-7:30pm: Catered reception in the Allen Hall atrium (first floor lobby) The UO NPPA chapter will be taking professional headshots of students from 7-8pm in Allen 115 for a $5 donation. Session Locations: Advertising major - 177 Lawrence Journalism major - 166 Lawrence Public Relations major - 221 Allen Media Studies major and minors - 211 Allen After your session, return to Allen Hall for a free catered reception in the atrium.
