About this event
**CCS Launches Winter Clothing Drive to Support Neighbors in Need** EUGENE – Catholic Community Services of Lane County (CCS) is launching its Winter Warmth Drive to collect hats, scarves, jackets, gloves, blankets, and socks for neighbors in need this winter. From September 21st to October 21st, donations of winter clothing can be dropped off at participating locations in Eugene, Springfield, and Veneta, or made online — 100% of proceeds go toward keeping neighbors warm. A full list of drop-off sites and needed items can be found at www.ccslc.org/wwd CCS served more than 22,000 unduplicated neighbors last year, distributing over 35,500 food boxes and 12,000 critical-needs services across Lane County. As temperatures drop, demand for warm clothing often outpaces supply at CCS' Springfield Clothing Closet. The Winter Warmth Drive helps CCS get ahead of that need before winter sets in.
