About this event
Our third Saturday bird outing will take place on **October 17th at 8:30 AM at Perkins Peninsula Park**. It will be led by Kristen Vale. We will walk an approximate one-mile loop around the park’s shoreline and oak woodland habitats that consist of grass and dirt trails, with some possible uneven footing. There are picnic benches available for seating. Park in the lot next to the restrooms near the boat launch. A Lane County Parks Day Pass or Annual Pass is required for parking. A $5 Day Pass can be paid via credit card with their onsite fee machine. There are portable restrooms available, but please bring drinking water. Please come prepared to enjoy the day rain or shine. Do not leave valuables in your car.
