Responsibilities Produce fluorescent protein-based products according to established manufacturing procedures and protocols. Purify and analyze fluorescent dye-labeled antibodies and other biomolecules to ensure product quality and consistency. Utilize chromatography systems such as HPLC and FPLC, along with gravimetric separation techniques, to perform protein purification and related processes. Analyze, interpret, and document scientific data accurately, maintaining high standards of data integrity. Support product quality and process consistency through careful execution of laboratory procedures and adherence to quality standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet production schedules, delivery timelines, and customer expectations. Maintain clear and complete laboratory documentation, records, and batch-related reports. Follow safety policies, quality standards, and manufacturing procedures at all times. Support department goals related to safety, quality, productivity, and on-time delivery. Consistently produce high-quality scientific work with minimal errors. Demonstrate strong ownership and accountability for assigned work and laboratory responsibilities. Adapt quickly to changing priorities and production needs in a dynamic manufacturing environment. Essential Skills Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, or a related scientific discipline. General laboratory experience in chemistry, biochemistry, or biology. Hands-on experience with protein purification, antibody handling, or biomolecule analysis. Proficiency with UV-Vis spectroscopy and standard chemistry and biology laboratory techniques. Strong scientific data analysis, interpretation, and documentation skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in laboratory work and recordkeeping. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Effective written and verbal communication skills for documenting work and collaborating with colleagues. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage time in a fast-paced environment. Adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic scientific manufacturing setting. Strong problem-solving skills and a systematic approach to troubleshooting experiments and processes. Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently when required. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience using HPLC and/or FPLC systems for biomolecule purification. Bioconjugation chemistry experience, including protein labeling and conjugation workflows. Experience working with fluorescent proteins or fluorescently labeled antibodies. Experience in biotechnology or life sciences manufacturing environments. GMP or other regulated laboratory experience, including familiarity with compliance-focused practices.
