We are currently looking to hire a Sanitation Associate based in Eugene, OR! SHIFT: Saturday - Tuesday (Swing: 1:00 PM -11:30 PM) This position is responsible for contributing to the production of optimum quality products through managing sanitation department tasks including chemical handling, following the sanitation schedule, restocking sanitation supplies, and other sanitation activities. In this role, you will be responsible for: You will comply with all Company GMP, SOP and Safety Practices and Policies. You will conduct routine cleaning, inspection, and lubing of equipment, using concentrated and diluted chemicals for cleaning and sanitizing. You will maintain written sanitation records, including Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS). You will follow specifications, policies, and procedures to guarantee uniformity and adherence to cleaning standards. You will receive chemicals and properly maintain the chemical storage area and CIP room. You will perform sanitation PMs, MSS, and tasks. You will support Mix Room batching and staging of materials, as needed. You will fill in as needed in production areas when time allows and in areas where employees have attained skills and efficiency in an area of work, (i.e., hand-packers). You will have six months of demonstrated work experience that involves accuracy, dependability, and teamwork, ideally in food production. You will have demonstrated application of basic mathematical skills such as add, subtract, multiply, divide, percentages, and ratios. You will have demonstrated high degree of attention to detail and accuracy. You will have the skill and knowledge to suggest changes to increase production, improve quality, increase efficiency, and reduce or eliminate waste and enhance safety. You will have the ability to flex work schedule to support a 24x7 manufacturing plant, which may include working hours outside of a typical shift, including weekends as needed.
