About Us: We're an established Eugene-based company that sources and packs a unique selection of specialty produce and mushrooms for food service and wholesale customers. Product moves fast to maintain freshness and quality, and ships to customers nationwide. The Role: We're looking for a reliable, detail-oriented team member to join our sorting, grading, packing, and shipping crew. This is a hands-on, fast-paced production role: you'll spend most of your shift sorting and grading a wide range of specialty produce and mushrooms, packing product to spec, and helping get orders out the door on time. No prior experience is required. We'll train you on grading standards and handling. What matters most is a strong work ethic, consistency, and the ability to keep quality high while working at pace. Job Duties: ' Sort and grade incoming produce and mushrooms, including cultivated varieties from partner farms and wild species that vary by season, for quality, size, and defects ' Pack product to spec for retail and wholesale orders ' Prepare and stage outgoing shipments, especially during high-volume periods ' Use UPS and FedEx shipping software to generate labels, process outgoing packages, and support daily shipping operations ' Reconcile daily inventory using our inventory management software ' Occasionally drive our company vehicle to local suppliers or customers for pickups and deliveries ' Follow food safety and handling procedures consistently ' Keep your work area clean and organized throughout the shift ' Communicate quality issues or slowdowns to your supervisor as they come up ' Pitch in wherever the team needs support to keep the line moving Job Requirements: ' Comfortable being on your feet and working fast pace ' Strong attention to detail; to spot quality issues and defects consistently ' Reliable and punctual ' Good communication skills; comfortable working as part of a team ' To follow instructions and established procedures accurately ' Prior experience in food production, produce packing, or warehouse work is a plus, but not required ' To learn mushroom identification and grading standards on the job ' Basic computer skills are necessary; you'll be trained on inventory management and UPS and FedEx shipping software as part of the role ' Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus, though not required ' Valid driver's license Our Culture & Values: We value diversity and respect the dignity of every person on our team. Physical Requirements: ' To stand, bend, and move throughout a shift ' To lift 35 pounds regularly ' To maintain focus and attention to detail throughout a shift ' To work an extended shift when necessary (rarely) Schedule & Compensation: ' Schedule may vary by season. Normally hours are 8 am to 5 pm.
