Source linkResponsibilities of the Excavator Operator Include: - Efficiently and accurately digging trenches for the installation of sewer and water mainlines and services - Lifting and setting pipe - Lifting and setting trench boxes - Bulk excavation and truck loading - Completing all tasks safely - Communicating with the foreman and pipe layer Qualifications: - To be at least 18 years of age or older - Must pass a pre-employment drug screening - To pass DMV Record check - Class C Driver's license (preferred) - Minimum 2 years of experience operating excavators with an operating weight of 10,000 lbs. or greater - Experience with trench boxes and shoring systems preferred - Experience installing sanitary sewer, water mains, and storm lines preferred Hours: 7:30 am - 3:30 pm Pay: $36.00 per hour
