Lane Independent Living Alliance (LILA) is a cross-disability, consumer-driven Center for Independent Living for Lane County residents with physical, mental, cognitive, and sensory disabilities. LILA helps people build choice, access, inclusion, and independence through independent living services and peer-driven support. Core services include information and referral, independent living skills training, peer counseling, advocacy, and transition to independent living. Current programs listed by LILA include Disability Navigator support for job-readiness resources, service referrals, and understanding Social Security/benefit impacts; an Accessible Mental Health Program by Vocational Rehabilitation referral; a Peer Support Club for mental health survivors with socialization, peer support, classes, groups, and activities; monthly SSI/SSDI information sessions; True North peer-delivered recovery-oriented support for people with mental health challenges or life-goal support needs; and Work Incentives Network benefits counseling. Main office hours are Monday-Thursday 10am-2pm, and LILA says appointments are necessary for most services. Call or email first and describe what you need help with. The Peer Support Club is listed by LILA as located at 990 Oak Street in Eugene.
