Monday changes the map for a Lane County dump run
Walton closes permanently, several rural sites lose open days, and the minimum garbage fee becomes $25 on August 10.
Tomorrow, Lane County’s transfer-station map changes in a way that can turn an ordinary dump run into a wasted drive. Walton closes permanently. Creswell drops to Friday and Saturday. Veneta moves to Wednesday through Saturday. Most other rural sites move to 8:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m.; Glenwood keeps a separate seasonal schedule.
The price floor changes too. The county’s effective-August-10 fee table lists a $25 minimum for up to one cubic yard at rural sites, Glenwood and Florence. The county says hours and days can change without notice, so checking the site table before loading the truck is now part of the errand.
