Lane SBDC runs two startup sessions Tuesday
A free one-hour welcome at 4 p.m. leads into a $25 Lane County business-starting workshop at 5:30 p.m. downtown.
People trying to turn an idea into a Lane County business have two adjacent Tuesday sessions at Lane Community College's downtown Small Business Development Center.
The free Welcome to Lane SBDC orientation runs from 4 to 5 p.m. Starting a Business in Lane County follows from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. and costs $25. Both are listed as in-person startup-assistance sessions at the downtown campus, and both require registration through the state SBDC calendar.
The pairing is convenient: first learn what the center does, then spend two hours on the less romantic machinery of starting a business. Incorporation forms rarely inspire anyone, but they do insist on being completed.
