The UO-LCC aid opt-in closes Aug. 28
The form is for students admitted to both schools who need their combined enrollment counted for full-time financial-aid status.
Students splitting Fall 2026 classes between the University of Oregon and Lane Community College have until Aug. 28 to opt into the schools’ dual-enrollment financial-aid arrangement. The form is not a general dual-admission application: students must already be admitted to both institutions.
The arrangement lets credits at the two schools be combined when UO calculates full-time enrollment for federal financial aid. UO says it is not intended for students who plan to enroll full time at UO. Students who opt in and later change plans have until Oct. 2 to cancel.
Financial aid has enough small doors already. This is one with a date on it, so use the registrar’s page rather than memory or a friend’s screenshot.
Field notes
What changed: The Fall 2026 deadline is approaching for eligible UO and Lane students to opt into combined-enrollment financial-aid counting.
Why it matters: Missing the opt-in can affect whether credits split across the two schools count together toward full-time financial-aid status.
Who may be affected: Students already admitted to both UO and Lane Community College who will enroll at both schools this fall.
