Eugene’s parks survey gets specific about restrooms, safety and e-motorcycles
The anonymous English-and-Spanish questionnaire takes about 7–10 minutes and stays open through September.
Eugene is asking residents what keeps them out of parks, and the answer choices are not decorative. The city’s new survey asks about missing or unsafe restrooms, travel barriers, camping, other people’s behavior, e-motorcycles and whether parks are close enough to home.
It also asks what people do once they arrive, from gardens and events to dog walks, exercise and unpaved trails. The questionnaire takes about 7 to 10 minutes, responses are anonymous, and the city says a final report will be public. An optional email can be entered separately for a parks-store drawing.
English and Spanish versions are open through September. The city has not published an exact closing date, so waiting for the last day would be an experiment in calendar interpretation.
