Friday health fair gathers aging and caregiving resources in one room
The free five-hour fair at Wheeler Pavilion brings together Medicare help, care options, seminars and local service providers.

Seniors, families and people helping an aging relative can compare a broad set of local resources Friday without driving to nine different offices and acquiring a small colony of brochures. The SPIN Health & Wellness Fair runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Wheeler Pavilion in the Lane Events Center.
Organizers list Medicare experts, retirement and assisted-living options, memory-care information, placement agencies, educational seminars and exhibitors. Refreshments, activities and giveaways are also planned.
The venue is at 796 W. 13th Avenue in Eugene. The event page does not list an admission charge.
