Friday at 5 p.m. is the cutoff for Lane County's $200,000 grant pool
Lane County nonprofits and cities can seek awards from $5,000 to $30,000 for projects tied to jobs, wages, business help, innovation or commercial-district renewal.
The application clock for Lane County's Community and Economic Development grants stops at 5 p.m. Friday, September 25. The county has $200,000 available, with individual awards ranging from $5,000 to $30,000. Late or incomplete applications will not be considered.
Eligible applicants are 501(c)(3) nonprofits operating in Lane County and cities serving Lane County residents. Projects can focus on employment or wages in targeted sectors, business training and technical help, accelerators or apprenticeships, and improvements to downtowns, Main Streets or commercial districts. Only one application per organization is allowed.
Lane County posted a fresh public reminder Tuesday. The formal program page was published in August, but its exact September 25 deadline remains active and the county says application materials, a webinar recording and frequently asked questions are available through the CED grant page. Applications must be sent by email using the instructions there.
