Twenty complete applications: Junction City waitlist opens at 8:30 Friday
St. Vincent de Paul says the two-bedroom list at Alona Place often fills within minutes — sometimes in one minute or less.
The number to remember is 20. St. Vincent de Paul will open the two-bedroom waitlist for Alona Place Apartments in Junction City at 8:30 a.m. Friday and close it as soon as 20 complete applications arrive. Anything sent before the opening time, or after the list fills, will not be accepted.
Rent is $920 a month, not including utilities. St. Vincent de Paul pays water, sewer and garbage. Applicants must be at or below 50% of area median income, and the maximum occupancy for a two-bedroom unit is five people. Being accepted onto the list does not mean an apartment is immediately available; the provider estimates a six- to 18-month wait, depending on turnover.
The application can be downloaded now. Submission options are email, fax or in person at St. Vincent de Paul's Chad Drive office in Eugene. Because the cap is based on complete applications, reading the form before 8:30 may matter more than typing quickly at 8:31.
