Seven turnovers sink Oregon in 17-15 loss to UCLA at Autzen
Eugene native Brock Thomas sparked a fourth-quarter rally, but the Ducks could not complete the comeback.
Oregon's late push was not enough Saturday at Autzen Stadium. No. 21 UCLA beat No. 13 Oregon 17-15 after the Ducks committed seven turnovers and converted only one of 12 third downs, according to the University of Oregon's game recap and box score.
Starting quarterback Dante Moore did not play because of a concussion. Dylan Raiola completed six of 19 passes for 43 yards before Eugene native Brock Thomas entered in the fourth quarter. Thomas went 11-of-15 for 156 yards and a touchdown, and a 44-yard scoring pass to Evan Stewart brought Oregon within two. The Ducks' two-point conversion attempt failed.
The Ducks are due to host Nebraska October 17; coach Dan Lanning said the quarterback decision for that game had not yet been made.
