Springfield’s permanent superintendent search gets outside help
A unanimous board vote puts Human Capital Enterprises in charge of recruitment and community forums.
Springfield’s search for a permanent school superintendent now has an outside firm to organize it. The school board unanimously approved a contract Monday with Human Capital Enterprises, KLCC reports. Its reported $37,200 services include recruitment and community forums.
Shawn Stover remains the district’s short-term superintendent for this school year. Board member Matthew Brandt told KLCC that having a firm facilitate public involvement would reduce the burden on district staff and board members.
Field notes
What changed: The board approved the search contract October 26; KLCC reported it October 27.
