Drop boxes carry most returned Lane ballots
Friday's returns were close to 37%; four in five returned ballots used a drop box.
About 80% of Lane County ballots returned so far had arrived through drop boxes, KLCC reported Friday, citing the county clerk's office. Nearly 37% of county voters had returned ballots, compared with about 35% statewide. Those are Friday's figures, not a live Saturday count.
For voters still holding a ballot, official drop sites accept ballots until 8 p.m. Tuesday, November 3. The Secretary of State's locator provides locations and says voters in line at 8 p.m. may still deposit their ballots.

The venue says outbound service begins three hours before kickoff, with departures every 10–20 minutes. Return rides operate at halftime and immediately after the game; postgame departures continue for 60 minutes. Confirm the pass and departure arrangements before leaving for the north parking lot.
