Food-agency grants make room for berries, seafood and storage
Applications opened November 2 for projects supporting locally sourced whole foods.
Berries and seafood are among the purchases a newly opened grant program can help food agencies make. The November 2 announcement also allows infrastructure, supplies and project staffing that help agencies handle more locally sourced whole foods. Applications are limited to Food for Lane County partner agencies and agencies it invites; the rules include a 10% cash or in-kind match. The application deadline is 5 p.m. December 18. Agencies should read the full criteria before preparing a proposal. ([growlanecounty.org](https://www.growlanecounty.org/projects/2025-26-partner-agency-grants-n7dlh))
