Desktop & Mobile Basics
LaneHelp works differently on desktop and mobile because people use it in different situations. Desktop is better for scanning, comparing, printing, and building longer lists. Mobile is better for quick search, route help, shelter checks, and sharing.
Desktop
- Use wider tables, filters, map panels, and print previews.
- Keep the docs sidebar open while learning a tool.
- Use resource cards and Quick Sheet side by side when building a handoff list.
Mobile
- Use the bottom bar and compact menus instead of scanning the full nav.
- Open Paddle when you do not know which page to use.
- Expect filters, map controls, and directory tools to collapse into drawers or sheets.
Info
Public pages are usable without an account. Sign-in mainly helps with favorites, contribution tracking, profile details, and account-specific settings.
