For someone trying to find a toilet or drinking water in Eugene. These are dated survey observations.

What to do first

Find a nearby stop and read its access note before traveling: building hours, stairs, codes, customer-use signs, and event closures may prevent entry. A February 2026 survey observation does not confirm that a restroom is open today.
For building restrooms, ask staff where to enter, whether public use is allowed, and whether a code or purchase is required. For accessible access, ask about a step-free route and an accessible stall; survey ADA notes are observations, not an accessibility certification.
A sink-only listing does not promise a drinking fountain or bottle refill. Ask staff about drinking water. If a fixture is shut off or a site is locked, try another listed stop rather than relying on its old condition rating.
Adults experiencing homelessness can ask Eugene Service Station, 450 Hwy 99 N, 541-461-8688, daily 8:30 AM–5 PM, about restrooms and day services. It is an alternative during published daytime hours, not a 24-hour facility.

If you cannot get help: If no nearby stop works, ask an open public building or service center about public restroom access. Call 211 during weekday hours for other basic-needs locations. For showers or laundry use lanehelp.com/handouts/hygiene-access.

River House: the City now lists programs only, with no drop-in access. Its February observation is retained below; the location is excluded from the public-access map. Policy read October 13, 2026; this does not confirm physical condition or current opening at any restroom.
