Urgent safety: Life-threatening symptoms or serious injury: call 911. Do not wait for a walk-in clinic, directory response, or benefits approval when emergency care is needed.

What to do first

  1. White Bird Medical asks you to call first: 541-484-4800. It has shifted away from walk-ins to limited same-day rapid-access appointments. Published hours: Mon–Fri 9 AM–noon and 1–5:30 PM. Ask staff to confirm the visit location and whether they can address your problem.
  2. White Bird Dental: 1415 Pearl St, 541-344-8302. Call for the next alternating-Friday emergency walk-in clinic and its start time. Places use a lottery; arriving earlier does not improve the chance. Arrive no earlier than 10 minutes before the start.
  3. Dental asks for photo ID and income proof; bring insurance information if you have it. If documents are missing, ask about alternatives before the visit. OHP covers most dental visits; uninsured fees use an income-based scale. Medical also publishes a sliding fee scale; ask for your cost.
  4. For a prescription, call your prescriber or pharmacy with the medication name, dose, and how much remains. Ask about refill options and cost. CCS may offer limited prescription assistance: 541-345-3628; availability must be checked.

If you cannot get help: If no appointment is available, ask the clinic where to get timely care and call your plan for another covered clinic. For OHP applications call 800-699-9075, weekdays 7 AM–6 PM. Ask about transport through your plan before booking a ride.
