What to do first

  1. Before leaving, confirm the service is open and plan the return trip. LTD trip help: 541-687-5555; Eugene Station, 1080 Willamette St, weekdays 7 AM–6 PM. Give your starting point, destination, arrival time, and accessibility needs.
  2. Check the fare and service alerts at ltd.org. Ask about reduced fares or a student pass if relevant. A phone is not required to pay cash; check exact fare before boarding. CCS may have a single-day bus pass when available: 541-345-3628.
  3. If a disability prevents using fixed-route buses, ask RideSource about an ADA eligibility assessment: 541-682-5566 or 877-800-9899. Metro service is generally within 3/4 mile of bus routes. Eligibility may take up to 21 days; ADA trips are not same-day service.
  4. Eligible ADA riders request a trip by 5 PM the day before. Published fare: $3.50 each way. For an OHP health visit, ask RideSource or your plan about transportation benefits separately; eligibility and authorization must be confirmed. Give appointment and pickup details and request the return trip.

If you cannot get help: For Florence, Oakridge, or another rural town, ask LTD/211 about the appropriate route or community shuttle and its separate fare and last return. If no ride is available, ask the provider about telehealth, delivery, or rescheduling; do not assume a ride is reserved.
