Apply for a Florence business license

Businesses that operate inside Florence city limits need a City of Florence business license, applied for online with an email address.

Steps

4 steps
  1. Find your license classCheck the list of license classes on the city website. If unsure, call Finance at 541-997-3436 or ask in person at City Hall.
  2. Have an email address readyAn email is required to apply, and all license correspondence is sent by email. City Hall can help you set one up.
  3. Create an account and apply onlineFollow the how-to packet. Home businesses also need a Home Occupation Application; food trucks need a Transient Merchant/Peddler application.
  4. Pay online or in personCash or check is accepted at City Hall, where you get a code to finish your saved application. New applications cost $25, non-refundable.

Service businesses that work only remotely online do not need a Florence license.
