SNAP gives monthly benefits to help you buy food; you can apply online, by phone or at a local ODHS office.

  1. Apply online, by phone or in personYou can also apply for cash assistance and Oregon Health Plan on the same application.
  2. Do the interviewODHS reaches out to set up an interview about your application.
  3. Get your Oregon Trail EBT cardIf you are approved, the card comes in the mail and benefits are added each month.
  4. Meet work rules if they apply to youSome adults age 18 to 64 must meet work requirements to keep SNAP past three months.
