Eugene Rec’s 2026 scholarship funds are exhausted. Applications for 2027 activities are scheduled to open November 2, 2026.

  1. Check the funding periodScholarships are limited to City of Eugene residents. The next funding period covers activities starting in 2027; 2026 applications are closed.
  2. Return for the new applicationCheck the scholarship page on November 2, 2026 for the new application and its instructions. Call the coordinator at 541-682-5654 with questions.

    1. Check eligibility and budgetApplicants must be based in Lane County. Plan eligible programming for April 1–October 31, 2027 and a 1:1 cash, in-kind or volunteer-time match. Review all applicant, park and insurance exclusions.
    2. Prepare and submit the applicationRead the grant’s eligibility, criteria and timeline tabs, review the application questions and submit by noon Pacific on November 10, 2026. The city can provide translation or non-digital applications on request.
