Request disability support for a Willamalane activity

Ask Willamalane for an individualized accommodation plan, preferably at least four weeks before the activity.

  1. Register and request accommodationRegister for the activity through the normal program process. Use Make an Accommodations Request to ask for disability-related support.
  2. Plan with the coordinatorThe inclusion coordinator assesses your request and creates an accommodation plan. Submit requests at least four weeks ahead when possible; some can be fulfilled sooner.
  3. Arrange personal support separatelyWillamalane does not provide personal support workers. Outside support workers require approval and may have trip fees; contact InclusionServices@willamalane.org with questions.

    Apply for a Willamalane recreation scholarship

    1. Choose a scholarship and check eligibilityFor general scholarships, live within district boundaries and provide qualifying assistance documentation or a brief hardship essay. General aid covers up to 50% of eligible fees, with a $200 annual maximum per person.
    2. Submit the applicationDownload the current application or pick up a copy at a Willamalane facility. Return it with eligibility documents to any facility; call 541-736-4544 for help.
    3. Check program exceptionsAll-Access Memberships are excluded from general aid. A 1Pass scholarship does not guarantee an available pass. Middle-school sports require Springfield Public Schools attendance and household income information.

    Join low-cost social activities at Willamalane Adult Activity Center

    1. Choose a lobby activityCheck the current social-activities list for activities you want to attend.
    2. Get the pass at the front deskAsk for the Get-Together Pass at the front desk. It is valid for one year from purchase, and scholarships are available.
