iCanConnect Oregon – DeafBlind Communication Equipment
disability
About This Service
Free distance-communication equipment and individualized training for eligible Oregonians with significant combined hearing and vision loss. Professional disability verification and household income at or below 400% of federal poverty guidelines, or qualifying federal-benefit documentation, are required. Request or download ATI’s Oregon application; ATI reviews eligibility and arranges an assessment. Equipment is selected through assessment, so no particular device is guaranteed. Internet, cellular and telephone service are not supplied. Training excludes basic computer skills, keyboard skills and braille instruction. ATI’s Salem contact office serves Oregon, including Lane County.
