Springfield's Sunday market brings 40-plus vendors downtown
The market runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. by the library, with EBT matching and a free Umo ride code posted for shoppers.
Springfield's Sunday Farmers Market fills the library parking lot from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. today with more than 40 farms and food makers. Admission is free, and the market accepts SNAP and EBT with up to $20 in Double Up Food Bucks matching.
The market is at 225 Fifth Street, three blocks from Springfield Station. Its event page also lists a free Umo transit code for the trip: LTD-MLH3-HBST.
This is a useful small outing, not an all-day production. Bring a bag, check the market page before using the ride code, and remember that the vendors are the point; the parking lot is merely where they happen to be standing.
