Sunday, August 23, 2026 / Eugene School District 4J
Project Hope registration opens at 7 Monday morning
4J families can reserve appointment-only Aug. 29–30 slots for free athletic shoes, socks, backpacks and school supplies.
Families with students enrolled in Eugene School District 4J can begin registering for Project Hope at 7 a.m. Monday, Aug. 24. The free back-to-school events provide new athletic shoes, socks, backpacks filled with supplies and other resources.
The two 4J events run from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Chávez Elementary and Sunday at North Eugene High School. Participation is by appointment, and 4J says times fill quickly. Each registered student must attend the appointment and may use only one Project Hope location.
Use the registration links on 4J's notice when they open. Families in Bethel, Springfield and Junction City should follow their own district's process; the 4J times and locations are not a countywide ticket.
