A $200,000 grant round gets a noon explainer
Lane County's virtual briefing today covers grants from $5,000 to $30,000; applications close Sept. 25.
Lane County is holding a virtual information session at noon today for its 2026-27 Community and Economic Development Grant Program. The county says $200,000 is available, with individual awards ranging from $5,000 to $30,000.
Eligible applicants include 501(c)(3) nonprofits operating in Lane County and cities that serve Lane County residents. The program is aimed at projects that increase wages or jobs, assist businesses, support business innovation or revitalize commercial areas.
Applications are due Sept. 25. The county says a recording of today's webinar will be posted, so missing noon does not close the door; it merely removes the chance to ask a live question.
