Two Eugene race registrations open Tuesday morning
The 2027 Eugene Marathon weekend and November's Run to Stay Warm both open sign-ups Sept. 1, for rather different distances and deadlines.
Tuesday is registration day for two Eugene running traditions. The larger one looks seven months ahead: registration for the April 23-25, 2027 Eugene Marathon weekend opens Sept. 1 for the marathon, half-marathon and 5K.
The 2026 marathon weekend drew about 13,000 finishers and sold out by the third week of January. Race director Ian Dobson told Lookout Eugene-Springfield that local runners should not count on waiting until their spring training plans feel settled. The opening prices reported are $160 for the marathon, $135 for the half and $30 for the 5K.
Run to Stay Warm also opens registration Sept. 1 for its Nov. 22 half-marathon, 10K, 5K and free kids run. That event starts and finishes at Downtown Riverfront Park and benefits EWEB's Customer Care Program. Its official page lists a 10% discount when three or more people register together. Check each organizer's live registration page before paying; availability and prices can change.
