Eugene's Labor Day schedule closes libraries but keeps two pools moving
City offices, library locations and return slots close Sept. 7; Amazon and Sheldon run shorter schedules, Echo Hollow starts maintenance, and most city parking is free.
Eugene's Labor Day schedule is a mixed bag, which is more useful than a big CLOSED sign and substantially harder to remember.
All library locations and their outside return slots close Monday, Sept. 7, along with city offices, community centers and the spay-and-neuter clinic. Amazon Pool and Sheldon Pool keep limited holiday schedules. Echo Hollow closes for maintenance from Sept. 6 through Sept. 20.
City-managed garages, surface lots and meters are free for the holiday except the train-depot surface lot; Arena District limits still apply. Police, fire, medical and other emergency services continue as usual, and Eugene Airport remains open even though its administrative office closes.
