Spirited Away and Howl’s Moving Castle get the orchestral treatment this weekend
Eugene Symphony brings Joe Hisaishi’s Studio Ghibli music to the Hult’s Soreng Theater October 3–4.
If the music from Studio Ghibli films has stayed with you longer than the closing credits, Eugene Symphony has a weekend built around it. The program at the Hult Center includes music from Howl’s Moving Castle, Spirited Away, Kiki’s Delivery Service and My Neighbor Totoro, all by Joe Hisaishi.
The Hult lists performances in Soreng Theater at 3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Saturday, October 3, and 3 p.m. Sunday, October 4. Starting prices differ by performance: $40 for Saturday afternoon, $50 for Saturday evening and $65 for Sunday afternoon. Those are starting prices, not a promise that a particular seat remains available. Check the official ticket page for the date and price you want.
