Oregon fires offensive coordinator Drew Mehringer
The Sunday decision follows the Ducks’ 21–10 loss at Illinois.
Oregon changed its offensive leadership Sunday, dismissing coordinator Drew Mehringer one day after the Illinois loss, the Associated Press reports.
Head coach Dan Lanning said the program needed a different direction on offense. Mehringer joined Oregon’s staff in 2022 and became co-offensive coordinator in 2025. The Ducks are 4–3 overall and 2–2 in Big Ten play, according to AP.
